In January-August 2020, JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya, a member of Naftogaz Group, contributed 480 MUAH of rental payments to the local budgets where the company produces hydrocarbons.

Naftogaz Group continues to build a professional top management team in the process of its transformation. Recently Nataliia Rudevych was appointed Director for Oil and Gas Services of the Technical Support Division of Naftogaz.

From October 1, the international company Expert Petroleum will commence production enhancement operations at 13 depleted gas fields in the Lviv region. The company receives these fields for temporary manage from Naftogaz Group provided that it will invest at least 1 BUAH and increase production by 300 mcm for 5 years.

Naftogaz Group continues to defend its rights in connection with the revocation of special subsoil use permits for the Budyshchansko-Chutivska site, which was sold by the State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine to the other company at an open bidding today, as well as to two other sites - Obolonska and Pysarivska. According to Naftogaz, in 2017, the State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine unreasonably issued an order, which became the basis for the revocation of the Company's special permit

Naftogaz Exploration and Production has created an Expert Board of 11 leading Ukrainian scientists and practitioners in the field of geological exploration and hydrocarbon production. The Expert Board members will join the development of Naftogaz's strategy to increase gas reserves and an exploration and production program. The first constitutive meeting of the Expert Board was held on August 27, 2020.
