Every day at 9: 00, Ukraine honors the memory of Ukrainian defenders and civilians who died in the war. We call on the company's employees to remember also 3 colleagues from Ukrgasvydobuvannya who died due to russia's full-scale invasion during the all-Ukrainian minute of silence.

"With pain and sadness we honor the memory of all casualties of the war aimed at exterminating the Ukrainian people. Unfortunately, there are also dead among the employees of our team. We express our sincere condolences to the family and friends, as well as provide financial assistance to families. I am sure that those responsible for these deaths will definitely be punished, no criminal will escape punishment. Heroes should not die", Olexander Romanyuk, Director of the Naftogaz Exploration and Production Division, First Deputy Director General of Ukrgasvydobuvannya said.

On April 3, 2022, Yuriy Kurochka, a driver of Ukrburgaz Shebelynsky Drilling Division, was killed while evacuating residents of Balakleya.

From the first days of the full-scale invasion of invaders, Yuriy joined in helping our country. He delivered aid to the military, participated in evacuation of company's employees and residents of Kharkiv region from hot spots. Yuriy did not hesitate to agree to risky tasks, understanding the possible consequences.

Last Sunday, Yuriy was evacuating people from the Balakleya district hospital and came under fire from russian invaders in Balakleya. According to the Izyum administration, Yuriy died from a fatal wound.

"Yuriy Petrovich was a responsible employee both in peacetime and during the war. He faithfully performed his duties, was a highly qualified driver. During the period of military operations, he joined the help of our colleagues and defenders of Ukraine. With his own life, he saved lives of Ukrainians. This is a big loss for our team. We express our condolences to Yuriy's wife, children and grandchildren," Mikhailo Sheremeta, Head of the Shebelinsky Drilling Department said.
